The 2nd team captain for 2008, Matt is a developing cricketer who has turned into one of the club's top fielders in a short space of time. Matt joined the club in 2005 and quickly became an ever present name within the 2nd team. Matt has been working hard on his batting in the past few seasons and although is yet to breakthrough with a major knock above 50, consistently weighs in with solid contributions. Fielder of the year in 2006, Matt is a safe pair of hands. This ever-willing club man, now 2nd team captain looks certain to be a long serving member of the TJSCC team. Matt joined the committee in late 2007 and has got heavily involved in off pitch matters.
Possibly the campest dancer at the club, though Dickie P and Doc P would give him a run for his money ... Matt has also become a keen runner and will be running the 2008 London Marathon.
