Ten Good Balls - Allison Booth

In this new, regular feature we take a more in-depth look at some of the TSJ Ladies players, spectators and fans. Edition 1 shines the spotlight on firemen-attracting Alli Booth. Discover who she most enjoys playing with, her season highlights and just what she'd do if she was rich ...

What do you most enjoy about playing for Totty?
Having a great team who were very welcoming when I joined. Oh and the cheap booze!

How did you get started with rounders?
I was going to the pub quiz and Michelle picked me up early as she had a rounders meeting beforehand in the same pub. She then plied me with cake and wine until I agreed to sign up... then we came last in the quiz.

Who's your favourite teammate and why?
Probably Fluffy, she's been helping me with my throwing (the words battle and losing spring to mind) and the others can be a bit scary when they go into game mode, although the rest of the time they're all lovely!

What's been your playing highlight so far?
Catching four players out, one of which came complete with the Luxton dance. La la la la...

Why do you constantly seem to attract the fire brigade?
I swear I never start the alarms! I don't think I attract them any more than anyone else its just that I like to brag about seeing them!

Apart from falling over a lot, what do you feel you contribute to the team?
That's it! Errm...I usually manage to stay in for quite a while when we're batting which means the better players can score us more points and I always try hard even it doesn't always work

If you could be any famous person for a day, who would it be?
Bella. Mmmm Edward and Jake fighting over me!

If you won a million pounds, what would you spend it on?
Shoes, my mortgage, shoes, convertible car, designer shoes, holidays in the sun, shoes.

If you could change one thing about the club what would it be?
The trees that put the patio in the shade, I like sunshine!

Tell us a joke ...
