SENIOR CAPTAINS 2027

Although the 2026 season is barely over, it's key that we plan ahead for the 2027 campaign. With that in mind, we're delighted to confirm that the cricket committee has made the following appointments for the forthcoming season.

1st XI - Lachie Reid

We're delighted to confirm that our popular Australian star Lachlan Reid will continue to skipper the 1st XI. Despite a turbulent campaign in 2025, Lachie guided the side to a respectable finish and will be looking to push on for promotion in 2027. He was also an integral part of the victorious T20 side which brought home our latest club trophy in 2026.

2nd XI - Ry Marsh

With Clubperson of the Year Nick Marsh stepping down after several years in charge, 2nd XI skippering duties will be taken over by son Ryan. Despite a run of time in the 1st XI, Ryan will provide an excellent additional point of experience in the 2nd team. He will also significantly bolster the playing strength as a quality all-rounder, and provide a bridge between our two Saturday sides.

3rd XI - Dan Tattersall and Aaron Thomas

This was a no-brainer. Under the joint leadership of Tatts and Aaron, our youthful 3rd XI had a highly successful season in 2026, narrowly missing out on promotion. Their continued partnership will help bring much-needed stability to the Sunday side and continue their promotion of our promising junior stars.

We wish all our captains much success in 2027.
