Benefits for sponsors

All sponsors will be credited on the website and in club publications, including monthly newsletters, emails to players, officials, supporters and friends of the club, and on a sponsor list in the club pavilion. Sponsors will also be entitled to two free match day teas at a home match of their choice. Boxing Day programmes are distributed to more than 1,000 people and the game is widely advertised in local and national media. The website receives several thousand unique visitors every month, opening up adverts to a wide audience - in the period June 1 to Aug 31 2011 we received almost 10,000 separate visits to the website, for a total of over 34,000 page views. Match day advertising boards are placed at more than 20 home fixtures per season as well as other club events such as family fun days and sports galas which involve the local community.

Match Ball Sponsorship

Match ball sponsorship is available for £25 per game for senior cricket, and £20 per game for junior matches. Your name will be listed on the fixture list and home page of the website, the sponsor page, on any advertising regarding the match in question, and you will be acknowledged in our regular club newsletter which is posted to local residents and emailed to members and friends of the club. TWO free teas will be provided if you wish to attend the match in question!

Ground Advertising

A 10' x 2'6" advertising board sited on the boundary at every home cricket fixture plus any events which take place at the ground during the year. The cost is £200 for the first twelve months, with all artwork and production costs included, or £100 if you supply your own board(s). Your company's sponsorship will also be acknowledged on the club website and in our newsletters.

Renewal after 12 months is £100 per annum.

We will display a company logo / link to your website / business details on our website at a cost of £25 per annum for our sponsors page, or £50 for a banner on our home page. Boxing Day cricket

Tottington St Johns CC takes part in an annual Boxing Day match against Brooksbottom CC in a fixture which was instigated in the 1960s and which plays for the Brian Statham Trophy in honour of the former Lancashire and England cricketer. The game takes place regardless of the weather and in 2009 was played in several feet of snow! A match day programme is produced each year and distributed to more than 1000 businesses and local residents.

Advertising space is available in the programme at a cost from £75 per full page ad, and £40 for half a page. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to be part of a historic tradition, and an event which is not only covered in the local press but which has been mentioned on Test Match Special, Radio 5 Live, Sky Sports News and has had footage broadcast on BBC Northwest Tonight news in recent years.

Equipment appeal

We have a continual need for new and replacement equipment such as training kit, helmets / kit for our junior players, mower maintenance and repair, and would also like to purchase a bowling machine to help both senior and junior teams. If you would like to make a donation to any of these appeals, we will provide a news story on the website and a link to your website / business of choice.
