CEEBS SHINES AS WOMEN SMASH BEN RHYDDING

There was another thumping win for the women's team this weekend, with Charlotte Boulton doing the business with bat and ball. Ilkley's Ben Rhydding were the hosts, and were despatched in quickfire time as the girls posted a 9 wicket victory to consolidate their place near the top of the league.

Batting first, the home side were shot out for just 61 with Ceebs taking 4 wickets. There were impressive performances from a number of the younger girls too, with the ball and in the field, with added responsibility due to skipper Jas being out injured. Despite a poor forecast all week, the weather was set fair in Ilkley, and the Totts women moved to victory inside 8 overs, with the two Charlottes and Meg blasting us to a comprehensive win for the loss of a single wicket.

It's already been an impressive season for the women thus far, and they'll be looking to continue a title push when play resumes in a fortnight with the home game versus New Farnley.
