BURNS RE-SIGNS AS PRO FOR 2023

After helping to guide the team to the Div 2A championship in 2022, Mike Burns has been rewarded for his efforts with another season as TSJ professional. Burner has had a terrific year, his exploits seeing him end the season with 553 league runs at an average just under 40 (placing him seventh in the league standings with the third highest average), and 53 wickets at 10.92 (the fifth most wickets in the league and the third best average!)

Of course it's not just about the on-pitch action. Mike and his family have been terrific additions to the social side at TSJ and have fitted into the club ethos and traditions superbly. We're all delighted to see them back for a third season! YAH.
