1914-191810 members lost their lives in the Great War. A plaque displaying their names was installed in the Church. This was donated to the cricket club when the Church closed for refurbishment around 2000

1958Up until this year the Club had played in the Bury & District Sunday Schools League. They joined the NMCL and are the league's longest serving members. East Lancashire Paper Mill were founder members but spent several years in other leagues before re-joining NMCL
