2022 AWARD WINNERS

The 2022 annual presentation night for the seniors was held on Saturday October 15th; club friend Martin Kay did the honours and presented the trophies.

The main team and club awards were presented to the following individuals:

• 1st XI batting - Mike Burns
• 1st XI bowling - Mike Burns
• 1st XI fielding - James Banicevich
• 2nd XI batting - Paul Meehan
• 2nd XI bowling - Matty Bradshaw
• 2nd XI fielding - Mike Watts
• 3rd XI batting - Sam Collins
• 3rd XI bowling - Awais Bacha
• 3rd XI fielding - Charlie Foster

In addition to the team awards, a number of new trophies were handed out. The 1st XI Captain's Award was presented to Niko Brooky in honour of his remarkable season for the 1sts, while young Ruffers walked away as Spectator of the Year (despite stiff opposition!). Two particularly special awards went to Sharon Edwards-Marsh and Donna Shand (joint Clubperson of the Year) and the Outstanding Achievement went to Katie Schofield for her tremendous work with the 3rd XI, both on and off the field.

Many congratulations to all our winners in what was a remarkable 2022 across the club.
