SECONDS CRUSH DARCY BUT 1STS GO DOWN

The seconds made some TSJ history with a second successive ten wicket victory on TBDO weekend! Bret and Tom knocked off the 101 required to topple a disorganised Darcy Lever in just 12.3 overs, while the bowling honours were shared round. Nick T picked up an impressive 3-3 as the visitors' middle and late order collapsed.

The 1sts went down to a sizeable loss at Westleigh. Despite knocking over the first 8 wickets for just north of 150, the home side rallied to post 224 thanks to a large ninth wicket stand. Failure to knock over the tail, despite huge efforts, is unfortunately becoming a bad habit for both our Saturday sides. In response, Totts got off to a bad start, losing several key men very quickly before Pemby played a blistering lone hand. His 75 was more than double the rest combined as Totts fell away for just 118.

The 3rds game was rescheduled for next Sunday, so that everyone could pitch in for the annual success that is Totty's Big Day Out. A report and many photos from the event appear over on Facebook.
