AWARD WINNERS 2023
The end of season do took place down at the pavilion on Friday October 20th, and a good night was had by all. In addition to our five deserving new life members, the annual awards took place celebrating both on and off pitch performances this year.
While we'd all accept that perhaps the final season positions weren't what we'd hoped for, there were still plenty of great individual and team performances throughout the year, and the weather really didn't help the end of year run in when both Saturday sides in particular were scrambling for points.
Here's a quick rundown of who won what!
Billy Fish Clubman of the Year (non-playing): Ian Hayes, for his work with the juniors, cricket committee and all round efforts
Outstanding Achievement (playing): Awais Bacha, for his destruction of undefeated Brooksbottom CC
